Maybe becoming a Jesus follower doesn't really happen like this. Light reaching from above and the voice of God from the heavens. But when you really give God the opportunity to change your life. He can give you a purpose bigger and better than fulfilling your next selfish desire. Sex, Drugs, Alcohol, Popularity all leave you craving for more and it never satisfies. Ending with you isolated and broken. And still, God loves us. Messed up and all.
